Navjot Singh Sidhu hospitalized, condition stable

Former India cricketer and flamboyant star Navjot Singh Sidhu was hospitalized in New Delhi after he was diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis.

However, his current condition was said to be stable. Sidhu tweeted his picture in the hospital and asked his fans to pray for him.

“Mr Navjot Singh Sidhu was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals Delhi today evening with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This is a life threatening condition if not treated on time. Mr Sidhu has been put on blood thinners and has been recovering well. His condition is said to be stable as of now,” said a statement issued by Indraprastha Apollo Hospital authorities.

Sidhu after retiring from international cricketer was seen as an outspoken TV commentator and his command over the language and commentary skills are an example for everyone. Currently, Sidhu is seen as a permanent guest on the Indian comedy show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, hosted by Indian comedian Kapil Sharma.

Sidhu has also been an active member in the Indian political circles. Sidhu is a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and a stern admirer of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

With Sidhu admitted in hospital, we pray for his speedy recovery.
