One of the bowlers who was effected due to the stringent rules of the ICC about bowling action is the spinner from Pakistan, Saeed Ajmal.
After having been banned from bowling in International cricket, Ajmal who changed action so as to play a part in International cricket has not been able to find the form that he was enjoying before he was banned.
Ajmal who was a huge part of the plans from Pakistan earlier, was not selected for the final test against Bangladesh and also sat out for the 3rd and the final ODI.
Ajmal who felt that after a gap of 8 months, he was not able to be at his best admitted that he let his nation down but added that the gap meant that he needed time to regain some confidence. He also added that his captain and his coach had a separate plan for him and that he will not take too long to get to his previous best.
He said that him being dropped from the national team did not affect his confidence because he did not think he deserved a place in the team due to reputation and that the team selection is according to a plan that he respects.
Pakistan who are yet to be beat Bangladesh on the current tour lacked a bit of experience and Yasir felt that the team missed the likes of Ajmal who could have helped them pick some wickets up on flat tracks in Bangladesh.
However, Ajmal felt that the Bangladesh team is in the form of their life and that it is not easy to beat a team like that in conditions that favor them.
