There are very rare moments when you see the Indian skipper Virat Kohli dropping a catch of the opposition batsman. In the second T20I match against New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland, Kohli dropped an easy catch of dangerous, Ross Taylor.
In the 17 over of the match, Jasprit Bumrah bowled a slower delivery to Taylor, who tried to hit a six but it didn’t connect well. The ball went towards the long-on, Kohli runs in to take the catch but he ends up shelling it.
This saw Bumrah having a wry smile on his face, as he also could not believe Kohli has dropped a sitter. Albeit aggressive skipper has taken a prolific catch in sixth over of the game to send Martin Guptill back to the pavilion.

However, on the fourth ball of the last over, Bumrah was successful in taking the wicket of Taylor. This time Rohit Sharma completed a well-judged catch.
Meanwhile, the host has set the target of 133 runs after scoring 132 at the loss of five wickets in their 20 allotted overs.

Save for that Kohli drop catch, the fielding today has been absolutely top class, we have been struggling with our fielding for the last few months, but this one is right on top. The fielding coach is back 🙂#INDvsNZ
