Nidahas Trophy 2018, Match 6: Bangladesh Predicted XI

After a thumping loss to India in the last game, Bangladesh will be eager to win the must-win clash against Sri Lanka to book a place in the final. They will face Sri Lanka tomorrow, and the winner of that game will meet India in Sunday’s final.

Although Bangladesh has had few results going against them, they have played some good cricket in this series. Recently they chased down a record total of 215 in their last game against Sri Lanka.

The batsmen have responded to their job. However, the bowlers are yet to come good except in few occasions. They have gone for plenty. arafat sunny girlfriend

Bangladesh team management will have their players in superlative form in a must-win clash against Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, they are likely to go in with one change in the all-important fixture. Pacer Taskin Ahmed is likely to come in place of Abu Hider Rony.

Tamim Iqbal:

The southpaw is Bangladesh’s most experienced batsmen with a lot of ability. Although, he got a good start against India but failed to get going.

Bangladesh will rely on him heavily to provide a good start against Sri Lanka.

Soumya Sarkar:

Soumya Sarkar is another fine young player, who was impressive in the T20Is against South Africa last year. He will be eager to show his command in this series.

Despite all the aggression and ability he has, the youngster is due to some big knocks in crucial matches. Soumya will look to give Bangladesh a good start against Sri Lanka.

Liton Das:

Although Liton failed to score runs in the last game, he has had a good tour so far. He has shown good temperament and can score quick runs.

However, he needs to come good against Sri Lanka if Bangladesh has to book a place in the final.

The wicket-keeper batsman is in prolific form as he followed his match-winning knock with a brilliant fifty against India. Although it went in vain, Mushfiqur proved his class once again against a good bowling attack.

However, his team will want him to continue this form in the next fixture.

Mahmudulluah (C):

Stand-in skipper Mahmudullah needs to stand up to the occasion in the absence of Shakib Al Hasan. However, the experienced all-rounder has failed to come good in the game against India.

Mahmudullah knows the importance of the upcoming fixture and will be eager to lead the team from the front.

Sabbir Rahman:

Sabbir Rahman batted brilliantly against India. However, couldn’t finish the game. He scored 27 runs off 23 balls but failed to score quickly.

However, Bangladesh will want a superlative inning from him in their next game.

Mehidy Hasan:

The young off-spinner had a rare off day as he went for plenty against India. However, so far he has done well for Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, he along with Nazmul Islam is the nucleus of this team in the middle overs.

Nazmul Islam:

New in his international career, Nazmul has shown tremendous prospects with the ball. However, he was economical in his last game against a star-studded Indian team.

Meanwhile, on his front, Nazmul will look to make a mark in a must-win clash to make a strong case for himself.

Rubel Hossain:

Rubel was Bangladesh highest wicket-taker in the last game against India. Also, he was economical giving away only 27 runs in his four overs.

However, Bangladesh will want him to up his game in a must-win fixture against Sri Lanka.

Taskin Ahmed:

Taskin Ahmed with his raw pace and agility impressed everyone one in his debut against India. However, he lacks consistency which has hurt Bangladesh recently.

Although he didn’t find a place in last game, he is likely to return against Sri Lanka.

Mustafizur Rehman:

The left-arm pacer had a mediocre season last year, but nobody can disregard his talent. With plenty of variations in his armoury, Mustafizur is Bangladesh’s best death bowler currently.

Although he went for plenty against India, he can win matches single-handedly.
