Suryakumar Yadav, on Sunday, scored a sensational century to further strengthen his place in the T20I team ahead of this year’s T20 World Cup. The right-handed batsman played the knock in the third and final T20I against England at Edgbaston.
Yadav came out to bat when India were reeling at 13 for 2 while chasing a mammoth total of 216. But before England could make the contest a one-sided affair, Yadav steadied the ship and revived India’s chase. He reached his century with a four off 48 balls.
The Mumbai star became just the fifth Indian to score century in the shortest format of the game.
