Pakistan players are happy after they were released for ICC World T20 2016 in India. Pakistan team were barred from taking off for India due to security issue against the Pakistan team in India. Pakistan’s first match against India at Dharamsala were cancelled because a community retired army personnel opposed the match and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh himself said that the government could not give full proof security to Pakistan team. But, Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly and West Bengal chief minister assured full security to Pakistan team. So, ICC shifted the March 19 match to Eden Gardens.
However, Pakistan government didn’t agree to send their national men and women team until they get written assurance from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Kolkata Police commissioner Rajib Kumar.
Pakistan team leave their country for Kolkata. Players could not hide their excitement as they finally boarded on the Kolkata-bound flight.
