Paytm is the title sponsor of West Indies-India T20I series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday awarded the title sponsorship rights to Paytm for the upcoming two T20 International matches between India and West Indies to be played in Florida, USA.
While announcing the decision, BCCI President Anurag Thakur said, “We are delighted to extend our association with Paytm. This will further strengthen partnership with our existing partner and is a testimony to the fact that our partners believe in BCCI’s initiative of reaching out to newer audiences and markets.”
BCCI Secretary Ajay Shirke added,”We have always respected our relationship with existing partners. This announcement of Paytm coming onboard reflects the strong bond we share with our partners. We are pleased to extend our association with them.”
India and West Indies will play two Twenty 20 matches on August 27 and 28 at the Central Broward Regional Park, Fort Lauderdale, USA.
This series has been organized during the Test series in West Indies where India defeated the host 2-0.
India will play West Indies first time after the semifinal defeat in the 2016 World T20. In the last encounter, India batting first scored 192 losing jus two wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Virat Kohli scored 89 for India. But West Indies batsmen, especially Lendl Simmions scored a match winning 82 off 51 balls while Andre Russell scored unbeaten 43 and Johnson Charles scored 52.
West Indies in the final defeated England. In the final over of Ben Stokes, the new West Indies captain hit four monstrous sixes to win the World T20 for West Indie second time in history.
