Player ratings of West Indies players

West Indies continue their swan song in World T20 2016. After their first match victory against England, they defeated Sri Lanka in Bangalore by seven wickets. Chris Gayle, due to a hamstring injury, didn’t come to bat. However, that didn’t trouble West indies as Andre Fletcher played a magical innings and Andre Russell  played a cameo at the end. With this win, West Indies took a big stride towards their semifinal berth while underprepared-Sri Lanka are on the verge of elimination from the tournament.

Here are the ratings of West Indies players:

Andre Russell: The West Indies all-rounder bowled four overs and got one, but was a little expensive as he conceded 34 runs. But Russell contributed 20 runs off 8 balls and was unbeaten in West Indies’ seven wickets victory.

Samuel Badree: The spinner has bowled a very economical spell as he conceded only 12 runs and three wickets that help West Indies to restrict Sri Lanka for 122.

Suleiman Benn: The scrawny and tall spinner also produced an exciting spell as he conceded one run more than Badree, but he has gone wicketless.

Ratings: 3.5/5

Carlos Braithwaite: He is a new inclusion in the department of West Indies allrounder. Like Russell, he has gone a little expensive as he conceded two runs more than Russell and took one wicket.

DJ Bravo: This West Indies all-rounder bowled a four overs of a superb spell. He conceded 20 runs and took two wickets.

Ratings: 4/5

Andre Fletcher: The opener played an outstanding innings of 84 runs off 64 balls that helped West Indies to win the match by seven wickets.

Ratings: 4.5/5

Johnson Charles: This opener scored only 10 off 13 balls, however, his wicket did make any difference in the match as Fletcher played an outstanding innings.

Denesh Ramdin: The wicket batsman’s off from continued he contributed only 5 runs  before Milinda Siriwardana.
