Kieron Pollard believes Mumbai’s best days lie ahead

One of the most popular and star studded team in the IPL the Mumbai Indians have not lived up to their expectations in most of the previous seasons of IPL and did not start this IPL on a strong note either.

But a 4-match winning streak has seen the team now fighting for the top-four in this season. They currently sit at the 5th position in the standings and play the table toppers CSK away from home for a chance to get a place in the top-4 for the first time this season. However, a victory for CSK will mean that they will qualify for the players for sure.

With 10 points from 10 games, winning five and losing five, Mumbai Indians are all set to face Chennai Super Kings who are 14 points from 10 games and need only one victory to qualify. The previous meeting between these two teams ended in a victory for the team from Chennai but the big hitting Kieron Pollard from Mumbai Indians feels that their four match winning streak has given them the momentum to be able to beat even the best of the teams.

Pollard also added that his team-mates have not done anything different for the four wins and that they were working hard for every match. He said that the victory against Sunrisers helped them a lot and the time off after that game helped them re-group.

Pollard also said that the worst days for his team are behind them and that he believes that his team does not lack the talent to get to the knockout stage and probably win the cup.
