The opener Prithvi Shaw turned 20 on Saturday (9th November). On his birthday, the Mumbai cricketer assured that he would make a better return in the game. The player is currently waiting for his ban to end on 15th November this year.

Nobody can forget his debut in the Test cricket for the Indian team. His impressive innings have left everyone in the wonder of his batting style. In his debut match against West Indies, he made a new record to become the youngest batsman to score a century on his debut.

But later the player has faced bad luck as he was ruled out from the Australia tour because of an ankle injury, followed by his ban in doping case. Prithvi Shaw was banned in July this year. His ban is about to end this month (15 November). His injury gave the chance to Mayank Agarwal who has set his place in the Indian team in the longest format.

On his 20th birthday, Shaw took a vow to return in the game with much better technique. With his post on Twitter, he has confirmed that he is eager to play for the country and wants to perform better.

Prithvi Shaw has tremendous records in the domestic circuit. He has played 17 first-class matches and scored 1767 runs at the striking rate of 94.04. The opener has played 26 List A matches and struck 1045 runs. He has also been the part of Indian Premier League (IPL) for Delhi Capitals (DC). He has played 25 IPL matches and scored 598 runs.
