According to the reports, a Rajasthan Royals player has been approached by a Ranji player to fix the matches of the IPL 2015 for money.. The player has informed the matter to the Anti Corruption Unit of the BCCI. The player being approached and the approacher are said to be from the same Ranji side.

The BCCI officials have confirmed this , adding that this happened last month during a training camp , even before the players had regrouped for the IPL. The Anti-Corruption & Security Unit (ACSU) went into the matter and the news coming out says that both the players are playing for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy.

Rajasthan Royals will start their IPL campaign today against Kings X11 Punjab at Pune . Earlier, Rahul Dravid had called for strict laws to be implemented against anyone involved in the Match fixing.

Earlier S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila , Ankeet Chavan , Amit Singh and Siddharth Trivedi had faced bans for their involvement in Spot Fixing , in some or the other way. All of these played for Rajasthan Royals.
