Ranji Round 8: Day 1 Round-up – Crazy games between Saurashtra v Kerala & Bengal v Orrisa

Today it was the start of the 8th round of Ranji Trophy matches around the country. Many important matches are taking place which will decide the fate of quarterfinals matches. In a match between Bengal and Odisha two innings have been already completed, while six other teams have been all out. Today a total of 95 wickets have fallen across 10 matches while in the rest two matches a total of 3 wickets fell. 

The main contribution with the bat were, Robin Uthappa scoring 148 and Mayank Aggarwal scoring 108 for Karnataka against Delhi respectively,   SP Gautam 122 for Jharkhand against Himachal Pradesh, Desai scoring 106 for Goa against Jammu and Kashmir.

The main contributors with the ball were, Gani picking 6 for 34 in the first innings of Odisha, Dhiraj Singh picking 5 for 58 for Odisha against Bengal, Dharmendra Jadeja picking 5 for 44 for Saurashtra against Kerala, Kishore picking 5 for 76 for Andhra Pradesh against Railways, Pankaj Singh taking 4/10 for Rajasthan against Haryana.
