Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin narrated a hilarious incident which happened during India’s tour of Australia and it surely will leave you in splits. Recently in a contest named #AskAshwinContest organized by Sportstar, the protégé of Indian spin department  described the incident involving his India teammate Ravindra Jadeja.

Ashwin, who is currently playing in the IPL 2016 for the Rising Pune Supergiants franchise, is known to be a person who has  a great sense of humor and he often shows that side of his on social media.A user named Vino Parvathy asked the Indian tweaker, ”Can you tell us about an unforgettable humorous episode from your international tours?”

Ashwin replied, “We were playing a side game in Adelaide during 2014-15 tour of Australia, and some of us were sitting and watching the match. The bowlers were having a good run. Ishant (Sharma) ran in and hit a batsman bang in front of the stumps or so it looked from outside. Then we heard somebody yelling, ‘Front in Plum’, instead of ‘Plumb in Front’ and it was Jaddu (Ravindra Jadeja),” reports sports alive.

‘Sir’ Ravindra Jadeja has often been trolled by his teammates and especially by the skipper MS Dhoni. The Indian wicket-keeper, Ashwin, Jadeja, and Raina used to play for the same franchise in the cash-rich IPL as well where they developed a great friendship.

However, in this year’s IPL, Raina and Jadeja are playing  for the new franchise  Gujarat Lions whereas Dhoni  and Ashwin  are playing for the other new franchise, the Rising Pune Supergiants. Jadeja recently got married to Riva Solanki and his  teammates congratulated their very own Sir on the auspicious occasion.

India played against Australia before the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. The tour included 4 tests and a tri-national OFI series featuring Australia and England.

India did miserably on that tour as they failed to win a single game. However, they came back strong in theWorld Cup as they reached the semifinal of the mega event without losing a game. Despite being  knocked out in the semifinal by eventual champions Australia, India impressed everyone with their performances.

Ashwin has often made the netizens smile with his humorous tweets and he surely has tickled quite a few funny bones this time.
