The Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, during the third and the final ODI between India and England at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, became the first ever left-arm Indian spinner to scalp 150 wickets in ODI cricket. He achieved this feat when he scalped the wicket of Sam Billings on the second delivery of 18th over when the Englishman was batting on a score of 35. Billings tried to reverse sweep Jadeja but gave a direct catch to Jasprit Bumrah, on an edge of the circle.

With this wicket, Jadeja became the first ever Indian left-arm spinner to complete 150 wickets in ODIs.
Ravi Shastri succeeds Jadeja in this list as he scalped 129 wickets in 150 ODIs. Next in this list is the other Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh who has a total of 110 wickets to his name.
Ravindra Jadeja, in past few year, has emerged as one of the best all-rounders for Indian team due to his ability to contribute in both the departments of the game. He has also gained a reputation of India’s most lethal spinner in home conditions in Test cricket.
Jadeja still has a long career ahead of him and has a great chance to scale numbers in future.
