The third and the final T20I between India and Australia had to be called off due to wet outfield conditions and owing to that reason the Hyderabad Cricket Association on Saturday announced the refund procedure for the abandoned match. Despite no rain on the match day, the ground conditions were such an international match couldn’t have been conducted.
Meanwhile, the procedures will be simple, but unless the whole rules and regulations are followed, money won’t be refunded. Cash will be refunded in exchange of the Counterfoils of the tickets, and the procedure will be followed only after revealing the bank details such as the name of the buyer, IFSC Code and Account No.
Gymkhana Grounds will be the venue for the refund from October 26- October 28 between 11 am to 6 pm. No cash refund will be entertained without producing the counterfoils, and the originality of the tickets will be checked in the counters. Tickets which were bought online will be refunded by only the same payment process by which it was done initially. The process will be completed on or before October 26.
The refund procedure will be carried out for tickets which were priced from the range of 800 to 5000. The method for the tickets valued over 5000 will be refunded after the successful completion of the earlier process.
Meanwhile, the three-match T20I series eventually ended at one apiece and was ultimately a good result as far as Australia was concerned especially after losing the ODI series by a 4-1 margin. The Men in Blue are now all set to take on the Kiwis in a three-match ODI series which will be followed by as many T20Is. For India to regain their numero uno status in ODI’s they must win all 3 ODI’s in the series.
