Reporters Caught in a Scuffle During James Sutherland’s Presser Over Ball-Tampering

Nothing seems to be going well for Australia from the cricket to its media at the moment.

The fresh incident took place soon after Cricket Australia CEO, James Sutherland singed off after speaking to media in Melbourne.

The latest video revealed two journalists were pushing each other during a CA’s press conference.

The two journalists were Tony Tardio of 3AW and Chip Le Grand of Australia, who exchanged a few words before almost coming to the blows.

However, both the Aussie journalists then separated before anything extreme could have taken place.

Caught while cheating on March 24, Smith extended the public apology in the press conference. The Board sacked him and his deputy, David Warner off their duties for the remainder of the game.

Moreover, the top-brass of CA, Sutherland was visibly emotional during his press briefing. He further expressed disappointment which witnessed the heads are falling off in the country.

While speaking on the ball tampering, Sutherland deemed it as the unfortunate incident for Australia. He accepted somewhat fault on the field of Australia which was not within the spirit of the game.

“It will be dealt with promptly, we will work very hard over the next couple of days to get to the bottom of it, to understand the big picture, to understand the detail and to be making further comment on that in due course,” Sutherland asserted.

It’s pertinent to mention Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull has spoken about the ball-tampering saga.

Bancroft was caught by TV camera when he tried to scuff up the ball with the yellow tape. The incident broke the internet when it appeared on the big screens post-lunch session of the third Test between South Africa and Australia on day three.

However, later in the press conference, Australia skipper Steven Smith with Cameron Bancroft fronted up to the questions.
