Rishabh Pant is the future – Sourav Ganguly
The former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly felt that Rishabh Pant would be the future for India. Further, he added that Pant can be the man for India in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019 to solve the problem of number 4 position.
Ganguly quoted that Pant will be a huge asset for India in the times to come. Meanwhile, Ricky Ponting added that the stylish southpaw is one of those guys, who can win the ICC World Cup for his country.
“For me, Rishabh Pant is the future. He is a hard worker and he will be a huge asset for the country in the years to come. He is an option at the No. 4 spot for Team India,” said Ganguly.
However, Ponting went a step ahead and declared that Pant could be a match-winner for India in the World Cup. “Rishabh is the sort of guy that can help you win the World Cup,” said the legendary Aussie.
Recently, they tried Rishabh Pant at number 4 in the final ODI of the series but it didn’t turn out well for the team, as he walked back for a cheap score. However, he attained greater success at the very same slot in the Indian Premier League.
Currently, Rishabh Pant is pretty focused on performing for Delhi Capitals in the upcoming edition. The flamboyant batsman would be the key player for Delhi chances in IPL 2019.
