Rohit Sharma joins PETA to support sterilisation of homeless animals

Rohit Sharma, the Indian dynamic cricketer has linked with the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to help sterilization of homeless cats and dogs. Rohit Sharma will act in a new People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) campaign that demonstrates him and a small dog peering into the camera next to the title “Bat for Animals! Sterilize Cats and Dogs”.

Ace photographer Gaurav Sawn took the campaign picture and Rohit Sharma’s make-up and hair were done by. Rohit talked his thoughts on the promotion in an exclusive PETA interview. He said that Sterilization is crucial because he feels that if we can stop the homeless-animal crisis, there will be control of population among the street dogs.

This is not the 1st time that Rohit has linked up with People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to help animals. He shot an advertise publicize slamming elephant abuse in circuses, in March last year. Rohit Sharma is currently in Australia, playing in the International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015, where he is helping his squad retain the World Cup after India won it at home in 2011. India will play their next match against United Arab Emirates after they defeated Pakistan and South Africa in the opening two matches of the ICC World Cup.
