Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar gets another big opportunity in his life. Utilizing his Father’s capacity he bowls to Ben Stokes at the Lord’s in a net session before the second Ashes Test.
Sachin is in London spending holiday with his family.
The teenager, tipped by “sultan of swing” Wasim Akram to have a big future in the game, was pictured in action.
During the IPL, in an interview to NDTV Akram said Arjun was adaptable leaner. “He is a 15-year-old who is like any other kid in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka – he’s very enthusiastic about his cricket. He’s a left-arm medium-pacer and I gave him some tips on the game.
“I told him a little bit about fitness, on wrist positioning and I explained to him how to bring the ball back onto the right-hander. He had a lot of questions for him and is very passionate about the game, and that is always a good sign,” Akram stated.
Arjun’s love for bowling is well known, earlier he was also found with Zaheer Khan looking for tips.
Sachin always urged his son to enjoy the game. Arjun made his debut at the age of 13 in Kanga league, the prestigious club tournament in Mumbai.
