This is a pretty much handsome amount given to the umpires as earlier it used to be said that umpires always complaint regarding lower pays during the domestic matches but now it seems that they are satisfied with their pays and all.
The best way for them to increase their income is by standing in International matches which can only be done by increasing their level of skills needed while umpiring. Nowadays we only see two or three Indian umpires officiating in the international matches, out of these S. Ravi is the renowned figure in this field.
