The former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi thanked Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Indian team for the jersey that they gifted him, which had signatures of Indian players. Afridi took on twitter to thank skipper Virat Kohli and Indian team for this gift as he tweeted –

The Indian team had earlier gifted his t-shirt to Shahid Afridi earlier this week. Virat Kohli too replied to Afridi and was proud to have gifted Afridi such a gift –

It was a good gesture from the India team to gift a token of respect to Shahid Afridi who retired from international cricket in the month of February earlier this year.
In past, we have always seen that Afridi was one of the exuberant players especially when he played against India. India and Pakistan players were always involved in a heated conversation on the field and it was a pretty great gesture from Men in Blue to pay respect to Afridi, who has contributed so well for his team.
Afridi was one of the Pakistan players who always gave Indian team a tough competition. He was also one of the hot-headed players. Whether talking about his heated exchange with Gautam Gambhir or his 45 ball hundred against India in 2005, Afridi was one of the strongest players whom India team have always faced difficult to tackle.
Though he had mixed luck against his arch-rivals, as it was under his leadership when Pakistan lost to India in 2011 World Cup and 2016 T20 World Cup.
