Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant And Navdeep Saini, who are the vital players for India in the shorter format of the game has confirmed their availability for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019. DDCA confirmed the news ahead of their squad announcement on Tuesday.

Recently, along with Kohli, regular players of senior team like Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma have also been named among the star-studded probable that will make every other team take notice. Now, Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant and Navdeep Saini have confirmed their availability.

Final squad to be declared today:

Apart from the Indian internationals, regular Delhi players like Pawan Negi, Navdeep Saini. Himmat Singh, Nitish Rana, Dhruv Shorey and Pradeep Sangwan have also found their names in the probable list.

Navdeep Saini made his international debut in the recently concluded limited-overs series against the West Indies. Whereas Nitish Rana is a regular for India A in coloured jersey. And also, the youngsters, who showed their class in the recent past also got the nod.

Taking to Twitter, DDCA official panel wrote saying ” Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan and Navdeep Saini have confirmed their availability to play the #VijayHazareTrophy. The senior selection committee will finalize the Delhi squad shortly.”

Rishabh Pant and Shikhar Dhawan have been playing together for a while now. Last year, Shikhar Dhawan shifted his IPL base from Hyderabad to Delhi. Since then, he and Rishabh Pant were the regular partnership-makers of Delhi. And also, the duo shares dressing room in International cricket.

Currently, they both are asked to play for the national team against the South African side. Shikhar Dhawan will open the innings alongside Rohit Sharma. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant has got a point to prove his calibre. Dhawan also looking for one big knock, as he failed to score a considerable score after making a comeback from his injury.
