Hitting Shoaib Akhtar Might Be Easy: Mohammad Kaif’s Son Kabir Reacts To India’s Victory Over Pakistan During 2003 World Cup

Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif had scored crucial runs for India at middle order during his career. He has played some pivotal innings against dangerous bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar. Well, Kaif’s son believes that it was easy to hit the speedster for boundaries.
Kaif’s son, Kabir’s reaction, came after seeing the match highlights of the 2003 World Cup against Pakistan. At that time, it was not easy to face former Pakistan pacer Akhtar. He could bowl at the speed of 150 kph, which left the batsmen rattled. Well, every bowler has an off day.
In the mega event, Akhtar proved to be an expensive bowler against India. He gave 72 runs in his ten over the quote and picking only one wicket of Indian batsman. And, India won the match by six wickets.
Kaif’s son gave the reaction to his father’s innings and was not much impressed with his father’s batting.

Talking about the match, Pakistan has set up a target of 276 runs at the loss of seven wickets. And the green army had bowlers like Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi and Waqar Younis. While chasing the target, Sachin played crucial innings, scoring 98 runs. India was troubled in the middle as the Sourav Ganguly, and Virender Sehwag lost their wickets early. But the pressure was handled by the middle order.
Mohammad Kaif scored 35 runs while Yuvraj Singh and Rahul Dravid set up a partnership and led the team to the victory.
However, India failed to lift the trophy of the 2003 Wolrd Cup as they lost the finals against Australia
