Sourav Ganguly will be monitored at home:
Sourav Ganguly spends five days in the Woodland hospital. He was hospitalized at 1 pm on January 2 with “chest discomfort, the heaviness of head, vomiting and a spell of dizziness” while performing physical exercise in the gym. Following this, doctors had conducted angioplasty on him.
On Tuesday, Dr. Rupali Basu, MD, and CEO of Woodlands Hospital said the former captain will be monitored at home on a daily basis after being discharged.
Before coming to his hometown, Sourav Ganguly attended the BCCI’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Ahmedabad where some crucial decisions were taken on the future of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the domestic tournament which had been postponed because of the COVID-19 breach.
Ganguly also played an exhibition match against the Jay Shah-led team in the all-new Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. He had scored a half-century in that match but it went into vain.
Fans will hope to see him soon doing regular daily activities as BCCI president.
