Sourav Ganguly Wants Hrithik Roshan To Enact In His Biopic

Sourav Ganguly, who once ruled the Indian team, has now become the ruler of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). His journey from a domestic player to international player to BCCI’s president can motivate thousands of life. Thus, Ganguly was asked if his biopic is made, who would be that one to enact his character?

The former Indian captain selects Hrithik Roshan to enact in his biopic as he likes the actor. His story can indeed inspire the young generation to work hard to achieve success. His successful cricket journey started in 1992 and continues to date.

Nobody can disagree with the fact that he was one of the best captains and batsmen in the cricket world. Ganguly started his journey in the Indian national cricket team in 1992 after which he didn’t stop progressing in the cricket world. He was handed over the captaincy in 1999 when the allegation of match-fixing surrounded the team. He quickly proved to be a tough player and guided his team to success. Under his guidance, the team starting winning matches and gaining fame.

He is credited to develop the career of young Indian players under his captaincy. There are uncountable things Ganguly has given to the Indian Cricket. He was one of the most successful Test captains of the Indian team, winning 21 out of 49 matches. The aggressive player is now the ninth highest run-scorer in One-day Internationals. He played 311 ODIs and scored 11,363 runs.

His differences with, the then Indian coach, Greg Chappell led him to lose his place from the Indian team but the player returned to the team in 2006/07. In 2008, he announced his retirement from the international cricket after playing Broder-Gavaskar Trophy which India won by 2-0 margin.

He continued playing domestic cricket for Bengal as well as IPL. In 2012, he finally took a call to retire from the game but remained connected to it in many ways like commentary and as cricket expert.

Sourav Ganguly has also impressed as a cricket administrator

Sourav Ganguly entered in cricket administration and soon earned the place of President in Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) in 2015. He worked with dedication in improving the cricket in Bengal. Government of West Bengal in 2013 also awarded him Bang Bhushan Award.

In 2019, he was elected as the president of BCCI. Cricket fanatics and pundits have high expectations from the former Indian captain to bring revolutions in the Indian cricket. Sourav Ganguly also proved to be revolutionary after deciding to introduce pink-ball Tests in Indian cricket. Everyone is counting on him and expecting to be the best in his job.
