The second qualifier saw Sunrisers Hyderabad locking horns against Gujarat Lions.
Batting first Gujarat Lions had a poor start as they lost two wickets with only 19 on the board.But some useful contributions from Aaron inch, Dinesh Karthik and Brendon McCullum helped GL to post a total of 162.
Chasing the target, SRH kept on loosing wickets at regular intervals but their captain David Warner held the fort from one end and played one the most brilliant knocks of the tournament to take SRH to the final.

Was dismissed cheaply and did not have a good day with the ball too.

Failed to replicate his previous match’s form and was dismissed for only 8.

Could not do much with the bat.

Failed with the bat but dismissed Finch and Bravo towards the end to restrict GL to a decent total.

Came into bat at a tricky situation but failed to deliver.

What a knock from him. Played a blinder to take the pressure off Warner. His knock was definitely the turning point of the match.

Once again bowled an economical quota of four overs and dismissed Eklavya Dwivedi early on to set the platform for his bowlers.

Went wicketless and was a bit expensive too.
