Quinton de Kock Is An Absolute Match-Winner: Aakash Chopra
Aakash Chopra commented that batting of Mumbai Indians is fearless and opener Quinton De Kock showed the reason for being one of the match-winners. Aakash Chopra added in the same breath that they should have reached the target much earlier. Mumbai Indians made the chase difficult after losing three wickets for only 22 runs.
“The Mumbai Indians batting is extremely fearless. They are playing in a carefree manner. Rohit got out early but that was not an issue. What is the sort of batting Quinton de Kock is doing. He showed that he is an absolute match-winner,” Aakash Chopra stated.
“The start was a little slow but when Quinton started to hit Nortje he showed his quality. And Suryakumar Yadav came with him and sky is the limit is what I say for him. Ishan Kishan also played well.”
While chasing 163, Mumbai Indians lost Rohit Sharma early before Quinton de Kock, and Suryakumar Yadav revived the innings. After the former was out, Ishan Kishan came in and scored a brisk 28 off only 15 balls.
“They made a little heavy weather of the chase in the end because the match should not have gone to that stage. But if the end is good, everything is fine,” Aakash Chopra added.
Hardik Pandya failed to score, but Kieron Pollard and Krunal Pandya ensured MI’s victory without further hiccups.

“I feel Suryakumar Yadav was the gamechanger in the match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. The manner in which he is batting, whether you see his shots over the covers or his flicks or his cut shots. “
“The icing on the cake with cherry on top was the flick he played of Rabada’s bowling for a six. My jaw dropped after watching that six. I said that this player should play for India.”
“I am saying that before the end of 2020, he will be a part of the Indian team and I feel he will also play matches for the Indian team. This is a voice that is coming from my heart for this player and hopefully that happens.”
Aakash Chopra felt Suryakumar Yadav was the gamechanger and he felt that the batsman should be included in Indian team before 2020 ends.
