The tall and lanky pacer from Delhi who missed out on the World Cup campaign because of an injury is fit again and raring to go for the SRH in this season of the IPL.
Sharma felt that the T20 format gives more chance for a fast bowler than the ODI format which allows only 4 fielders outside the ring even in the middle overs. Sharma said that because he can have 5 fielders out after the power play, that he can alter the field and bowl to a plan.
Sharma who pointed out that bowlers are doing well in limited overs cricket after Starc won the MOTT at the world cup and felt that the four fielder rule is hated by many bowlers but also added that it was beyond their realm and that they should focus on the job in hand.
The 26 years old who has an injury prone career said that he was doing everything positive possible and that certain injuries are unavoidable.
Sharma who felt that a consistency is the key to playing regular cricket was quick to point out that it is not easy to stay constantly fit. He also added that he has learnt a lot from his team mate Steyn about how to prepare for games and how to handle pressure.
Sharma who is a part of an SRH team that finished 4th in its debut season felt that the bond between players will help them achieve a top 4 spot this campaign.
