ToggleAfter the world cup, the Indian National Cricket Team has got the hectic schedule as always. They will be playing as many as 5 Test matches, 9 One-Day Internationals and 12 T20I games in 2019-2020 season at home.
The season will start on September 15 with the Freedom Trophy for the Gandhi-Mandela series, where India will lock horns with South Africa in three T20Is, followed by three Tests. A fortnight later, the host will play a three-match T20 series and a two-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting from November 3.
The two Tests against Bangladesh will be played at Indore and Kolkata. West Indies will then tour India in early December for a 3-match ODI and 3-match T20 series. This is going to be the perfect practice for the T20I world cup 2019.
Zimbabwe and Australia will contest against India in T20 and ODI series respectively. Mumbai will host the first ODI against Australia. South Africa will return for a 3-match ODI series in March.
Meanwhile, it comes to know that all the 5 Test matches will be part of the ICC World Cup Championship. It means that the Indian team would send their full-strength to the West Indies.
