Mahendra Singh Dhoni is arguably the greatest captain of India in limited overs after leading the side to 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ICC World Cup and then to Champions Trophy glory in 2013.

He has also managed to take India to No.1 ranking in Tests in 2009 as he played a huge role as a captain of the Indian cricket team util 2016.

However, the Jharkhand dynamite was never away from controversies as he seen some low points during the course of his career.

But the lowest point in his cricketing career came when VVS Laxman has claimed that the Ranchi star had not picked up his calls when Laxman decided to retire. The controversy was at the centre of media propaganda during 2012 as the Hyderabadi batsman had not invited Dhoni to his retirement party.

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag along with Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar played a banter on the former captain in the commentary box during the first test against Australia at Pune.

Sunil Gavaskar has questioned Virender Sehwag asking, “I heard that MS Dhoni is not answering calls on his phone?” (मैनें सुना हैं महेंद्र सिंह धोनी फोन का जवाब नहीं देते?)

For which Virender Sehwag replied: “If you are a Chennai Super Kings player, you will get an answer from him.” (अगर आप चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स के खिलाड़ी हैं तो आपको जवाब मिल जाता हैं.)

After the epic troll, observers still believe there is still some friction between Viru and Dhoni after all these years. There had always been sayings about Dhoni giving more chances to CSK players during his time as captain for India.
