In what could have been an easy win for the Indian team, rain on the fourth day and loose bowling on the fifth day played a crucial role resulting in Test match ending in a draw. More than 83 overs could not be bowled due to rain which was the main reason behind match ending in a draw. Also, the Indian bowlers bowling loose deliveries on the last day of play added to the woes resulting in the Test match ending in a draw.

West Indies is probably the only team that will play positive cricket in a match that’s impossible for them to win. #IndvsWI #Respect

5 wickets & a century in this test. 2 five wkt hauls & 2 centuries in a short FC career. Roston Chase is a genuine allrounder! #IndvsWI

And India, reflect on this horrible day. You leaked 300+ runs and took 2 wickets out of which 1 was clear not out. Horrible day.

Roston Chase is the only West Indies player to get Man of the Match award in Tests in last 14 months in 9 Tests. #WIvIND

This is the 5th time West Indies has drawn a Test after conceding 300+ first innings lead. 3 times against India. #WIvIND

Roston Chase 4th West Indian to do the double of 5 wkts and 100 runs in same Test. The last Garry Sobers exactly 50 years ago!#WIvIND

This Kingston Test seems to be going the same way as the Wellington Test in February 2014#WIvIND

A five-bowler attack couldn’t take six wickets on a fifth day pitch. Exceptional batting from Roston Chase. #IndvsWI
ā Chetan Narula (@chetannarula) August 3, 2016
Jason Holder is the only player, apart from of course Rohit Sharma, to pull a ball for 4 from through mid-off #Talent #WIvIND #IndvsWI

5 wickets in an innings and a match-saving century. Reckon we’ll hear a lot more about Roston Chase in the future…

Just witnessed one of the best 2nd innings batting by West Indies, led by an outstanding Roston Chase. Great player even better temperament
