South Africa made a stunning comeback into the T20I series as they won the third and final T20I match by nine wickets. The visitors were able to keep India to a modest total of 134 runs and chased it without any huff and puff with 19 balls to spare. The Proteas captain Quinton de Kock was the star of the show after the bowlers did well to keep India in check.

de Kock scored his second consecutive fifty to help his team get over the line. However, the southpaw batsman had the rub off the green on his side as he was plumbed in front by Washington Sundar.

South Africa was the better side.
However, Nitin Menon gave the decision in favour of the tourists. But India had themselves to blame as they had taken a needless review in the previous over against Reeza Hendricks when the ball was going down the leg-side.
The pitch was on the slower side but Indian fast bowlers had no plans of rolling of their fingers on the ball. Navdeep Saini bowled quick and took the beating from Quinton de Kock as the lanky pacer was taken for 25 runs in two overs.

Furthermore, other Indian bowlers could not find success in the wickets column. Quinton de Kock batted at the top of his game and scored a fine knock of 79 runs to level the series.
Earlier in the day, India posted 134 runs after Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. India’s top three – Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli could not get going and it was a perfect opportunity for other batters to grab the chance. However, the Indian batsmen failed to find their timing as the South African bowlers made most of the conditions and bowled accordingly.

Bowling won it for India in Mohali. Batting let India down in Bengaluru.
India’s walking a new road….first hurdle encounter tonight. #IndvSA— Aakash Chopra (@cricketaakash) September 22, 2019
Fans in Chinnaswamy shouting 'RCB'. Shameful! Just because India lost one game doesn't mean you can call them RCB. #INDvSA

South Africa coasting. India hasn't really turned up today.

In #DRS for #LBW decisions the predictive path of the ball should be picked a few inches before the ball comes in contact with the Pad, not after ,simple reason being ball can deviate after contact #INDvsRSA

Will always fondly remember how badly I was abused/trolled during the 2019 WC when I tweeted "Rishabh Pant needed better decision making in his batting"…
Two months later, not much has changed about my point of view. #IndvSA

One of the worst possible review I have seen. Bowler and Keeper need to donate their freaking eyes to nearest hospital. Let needy ppl use it. #INDvSA

But South Africa should take the series if we consider the results on NRR!— Mohandas Menon (@mohanstatsman) September 22, 2019

India’s poor batting compounded by poor bowling. Length too short, asking for punishment and getting it. Easy peasy for SA
— Cricketwallah (@cricketwallah) September 22, 2019
Result as expected after India's batting…too low a score for bowlers to put pressure on SA…good come back in the series…levelled well by young SA players
