India have had a thumping start to the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 winning four of the five games they played while one was a complete washout. Meanwhile, the Men in Blues was the first one to claim the three ICC trophies as they won the ICC World Cup in 1983 and 2011, the ICC World T20 in 2007 and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002 and 2013. Rohit Sharma goofed up while sharing an image from the 2013 Champions Trophy which attracted a lot of trolling on social media.

The Indian team came into the tournament with a new opening pair in Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan who went onto create history for their country in the years to follow. There was also a makeshift in Rohit’s career who started to open the innings after struggling in the middle orders. That tournament saw a new Rohit Sharma who later became one of the devastating opening batters in the cricket world.
Rohit Sharma took to Twitter to share a picture of ICC Champions Trophy victory in 2013. The image had Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rohit himself along with the winning trophy.

However, Rohit Sharma goofed up with the hashtags as he marked #ChampionsTrophy2017 in his tweet. Notably, India reached the finals of the 2017 Champions Trophy only to go down against arch-rivals Pakistan in the finals. Pakistan rode onto individual brilliance from Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Amir to beat India by a massive margin of 180 runs.
Soon after Rohit Sharma posted the tweet, it garnered a lot of attention. While many corrected his mistakes, many fans poked fun at Rohit to share some joy out of it.
