One of the most influential players to have ever played in the Blue of India, Saurav Ganguly is celebrating his 44th Birthday today.

Over the years, Dada has given his fans plenty of golden memories and established himself as the second most successful test skipper ever for the country.

Having made his debut in test matches way back in 1996, Ganguly scored a century on that day and announced himself for good at the highest stage.

He slowly grew on to become the skipper of the side in 2000, a time when Indian cricket hit rock bottom but he managed to revive the side and got them close to glory just 3 years later as he lost to Australia in the World Cup final.

He is responsible for giving Team India their aggression and his methods are still followed by the players when on tours away from home. So it is no surprise that the whole cricketing world took to social media to wish him on his birthday.

Here is the world of cricket wishing Dada a very happy birthday:

Anil Kumble, the coach of the national side also remembered his team-mate as he took to Twitter to wish him along with many of his team-mates:
