Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman again found obstructing the running between the wicket of a batsman. During a Bangladesh Premier League match between Chittagong Vikings and Dhaka Dynamites. In the fifth over of the second innings of the match at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, Mirpur Vikings batting first scored 122.
While chasing the target, Dhaka scored 24 runs in 4 overs losing two wickets. The incident has happened during the third ball of the fifth over. Striking batsman flicking the ball in the cover region called for a single, but Mustafizur blocked the running between the wicket while trying to field the ball. His move was not deliberate. But, none striking end batsman got run out.
The incident is a reminder of the second ODI of the India-Bangladesh match in which Indian captain MS Dhoni elbowed Mushtafizur as the bowler tried to deliberately block the batsman, who was trying for a single. Rahman was floored.
Mushtifizur grabbed a fifer in the match. ICC match officials fined Dhoni for the shoulder barrage. Mushtafizur was also fined, but his fine was minor.
The batsman who got out in the BPL match got angry but had to leave the pitch showing anger.
