Ravindra Jadeja, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Sunday, ripped apart Hashim Amla’s defence as the Indian tweaker shook Hashim Amla’s off stump.

Amla in his slowest ever innings scored 25 runs off 244 balls. He on the fourth day opted to block the Indian bowlers.

South Africa are trying to draw the Test as they knew it is difficult to chase 480 in two days as India spinners will rip apart them until they cautiously play Indian spinners.

On the fourth day umpire, Bruce Oxenford and Kumar Dharmasena turned down plenty OF desperate appeal from Indian bowlers.

Hashim Amla and his partner AB de Villiers, who are known as one the best prolific batsmen in modern ear cricket, shepherds one of the slowest innings in the Test cricket history.

AB de Villiers, who globally popular for his creative and explosive batting, but showing his defensive skills. His first run came after playing 31 deliveries. All he and Amla was trying to draw the match.


But, Jadeja for the second time in the match grabbed the wicket of South Africa captain Hashim Amla and ended a 25 run off 244 balls defiance. 

Amla and De Villiers ended the fourth day for 72 for 2 in 72 overs. On the fifth and final day, both batsmen have played  13 more overs and 12 runs. In the fifth ball of the 85th over Amla missed the flight of Jadeja which turned slightly left after pitching in the middle. Amla tried to defense the ball, but he miscued it as a result when looked behind he found his off stump were shaking and India erupted in celebration.

South Africa’s current run rate is 0.86, in 100 overs they scored 86 runs losing three wickets. Ravindra Jadeja got a fifer in the first innings. In the second innings, Jadeja so far got one while Ravichandran Ashwin took two wickets. 

Currently Faf du Plessis, who is known for his blocking skill in the Test, and AB de Villiers are at the crease, Du Plessis already played 46 balls but did not try to get a single run while AB de Villiers played 183 balls and scored 25.
