Fans react as Virat Kohli is not named in squad:

Virat Kohli won’t be a part of the tour of West Indies. Earlier this month, he along with several other key players like Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the ODI series too.

And while he was expected to be a part of the T20I side, the selectors have decided otherwise. Not only Kohli but Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal have also been rested too.

But unlike Bumrah or Chahal, Kohli has failed to deliver in recent times and has also been rested for numerous games. He was rested for the five-match home T20I series against South Africa last month.

Kohli was also rested for the first T20I against England earlier this month since he was a part of the Test team. Earlier this week, he missed the first ODI against England too due to a niggle.

And while media reports have suggested that Kohli has been rested and not dropped, the fans believe otherwise. As soon as the squad was announced, several fans took to Twitter to react to the news.

Many claimed that Kohli is being slowly pushed out of the T20I team. Some of the fans even said that Kohli won’t be a part of this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
