The highly-anticipated trailer of batting legend Sachin Tendulkar’s biographical film  ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ was finally released on Thursday (April 13). The documentary depicts the journey of one of the greatest cricketers of all time from his childhood days to representing the nation in the sport and becoming a legend of the game.

As expected, the trailer had gone viral on the internet as soon as the former India batsman himself launched the trailer in a crowded auditorium in Juhu, Mumbai.

The chants of ‘Sachin, Sachin. Sachin, Sachin!’ from the trailer were still echoing in everyone’s ears and there is absolutely no doubt that everyone is eagerly waiting for the movie to hit the silver screens and Virat Kohli is no different. The India skipper took to Twitter to express his excitement over the biopic of his former teammate.

Congratulating Tendulkar, Kohli tweeted:“Just saw the trailer of @SachinTheFilm, eagerly waiting for the release. ? Congrats Paaji!”

Meanwhile, the movie will be released on May 26. It has been directed by award-winning writer and director James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka and Carnival Motion Pictures. The music of the movie has been given by none other than Oscar-winning AR Rahman.
