Meanwhile, the world cricket board International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the scheduled of the mega event on Tuesday (January 26). He stated he would be eyeing to get rid of the world-class batsman. While sharing high praises on Kohli, Curran is hoping not to get him off the no-ball. But following the 3-0 series win over New Zealand, Kohli will be resting for the remainder of the Black Caps’ limited-overs tour. He will start off fresh in the home series against Australia.

“Hopefully, not with a no-ball. We will see. He is an unbelievable player,” Curran was quoted as saying by ANI.

Pertinently, in Group B, England made it alongside India, South Africa and Afghanistan, in particular. The 23-year-old right-arm medium pacer is equally excited to represent England Cricket Team in Australia.

For England, Curran the elder brother of Sam Curran made his international debut against South Africa at Taunton on June 23, 2017. There on, the former went to play 11 One-day Internationals, seven T20Is and two Tests. Across formats, he has bagged 27 wickets

While reflecting on the 2020 T20 World Cup, Curran stated the crowd creates an exciting atmosphere. He added the 2019 World Cup had revealed such exciting things and is he would be happy if he breaks into the Three Lions squad for the T20I showpiece.

“All the games are so exciting, the crowd will be phenomenal, and to be a part of it will be amazing. Playing T20s in Australia is unbelievable. We saw the excitement the 50-over World Cup (in 2015) created here,” Curran added.

Interestingly, Curran, who has been in Australia to represent his team Sydney Sixers of the ongoing eighth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL), has enjoyed his time. He reiterated Australia has some incredible stadiums which he eventually experienced during his BBL stint.

“Australia have some of the most unbelievable stadiums in the world. To experience it properly in this Big Bash season has been amazing for me,” Curran signed off.

So far, Curran has bagged 16 wickets at an impressive average of 20.38 in 12 games in BBL. Interestingly, he has notched a fifty to amass 175 runs in 12 matches as his batting average read 35.
