Indian captain Virat Kohli said he’s waiting to be in Bangalore and play the decider of the T20I series against England in his second home. The skipper, who represents Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the cash-rich IPL, plays his side’s home matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Having said that, Kohli is aware of the nature of pitch and outfield than many there in his side.
After an emphatic win over visitors in the second T20 in Nagpur, Virat said he can’t wait to play in Bengaluru, and that his side will throw everything on the line to seal the series. Adding more words to it, Virat said his side will be more expressive in the decider on Wednesday.
“It’s like my second home, can’t wait to go there (Bengaluru). All to play for in the last game. We will try to be more expressive. Some things we need to tighten up but all in all a very good performance.”
Since the IPL auction is around the corner, Virat would want someone like Ben Stokes or Jason Roy to add value to his already star-studded side, as both these Englishmen have made themselves available for the pickups. The Bengaluru stadium is known as the paradise for batsmen’s, given the small boundaries and a good batting track.
A five-run win at VCA stadium levelled the three-match T20I series for India, as the summit clash will take place in Bengaluru on February 1.
