Yuvraj Singh, the most paid player in the IPL 7 is being supported by friend and captain Virat Kohli from being released by the team. According to reports, the RCB team management was planning to release Yuvraj and then buy him back at a lower price, thus saving some money and buying other players from that money.
The idea was that no other team apart from RCB will have enough money in their pocket to buy Yuvraj but now when it is also expected that Delhi Daredevils will also release some expensive players like Pietersen and Murali Vijay, RCB team management has finally decided to release Yuvraj Singh.
Earlier when Yuvraj was picked by RCB for 14 crores, it was said that this decision was influenced by Kohli, who is believed to have a good relation with Yuvraj off the field.
But the captain of the side Virat Kohli has made it clear to the team management that Yuvraj Singh is still an asset to the side, thus conflicting with the ideas of the team management. Now, because of Kohli, the final decision has been left to Vijay Mallya , who will decide on Yuvraj’s future with RCB.
