The 2018 Fifa World Cup is in full swing and we are into the 5th day of the tournament. The tournament started with hosts Russia drubbing Saudi Arabia by a 5-0 margin. Since then most of the matches have been evenly contested and not a single team has managed to overpower their oppositions easily. Portugal and Sapin held on to a 3-3 draw. It was largely possible due to a hat-trick from arguably the best footballer in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Among the top teams, France started off on a winning note. However, finalist of the previous edition, Argentina failed to edge past Iceland in their opening clash. Captain Lionel Messi missed a penalty which started widespread troll for the might striker. He had a terrible day despite managing to take shots 12 times. It wasn’t really his day. However, given the stature of this player, one can expect a strong comeback in their next game against Croatia.

The Indian cricket skipper Kohli was nursing a neck injury which forced him to miss the one-off Test against Afghanistan. He will be back for the two-match T20I series against Ireland which will be followed by a full series against England. It will be a mouth-watering contest on our hands and Kohli will look to get his record straight in England. He had a horrendous time when India toured the last time around.
