Virat Kohli’s animated character to be developed for games across digital platforms

A renowned mobile game developer company will issue and market games around Indian cricketer Virat Kohli for the next 3 years.

“Nazara Technologies, a renowned mobile game developer and publisher has signed an unique deal with a sister concern of Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment Pvt Ltd (CSE) to develop, distribute and market games around Virat Kohli for next three years.”

Nazara will get unique rights to build mobile games around the cricket players across digital platforms including mobile, web and DTH, as per the deal.

Virat Kohli said that many people around the globe spend hours playing games on their smartphones. When the idea was approached about making a Kohli game using his animated character he felt it is a good idea and also another unique way for him to connect with his fans and thank them for their continued support. He cannot wait to see the final game that his team creates for him.

The games will be distributed across mobile platforms and prominent digital, and will be available to audiences across the world. Nazara Technologies are targeting at developing 3 to 5 games this year based on the character of Virat Kohli.

End users will be allowed to download the games free of cost with revenues being created through sponsorships, advertising and in-app purchases.
