Former India opener Virender Sehwag has carved his own niche on social media with his hilarious posts. One of the most entertaining batsman the game has ever seen, the swashbuckling opener has continued to entertain his fans even after hanging his boots albeit on a different field.
His millions of followers desperately wait for his tweets and Sehwag never disappoints. Whether it’s about taking a stand on a social issue, congratulating someone or wishing someone on his or her birthday, the retired player always comes up with the funniest of posts that leaves his fans in splits.
But his penchant of wowing his followers on social media with his funny and sarcastic one-liners almost backfired this time around when his followers misunderstood his tweet. It all began when the Nawab of Najafgarh took to Twitter to bid adieu to Indian Naval Ship Virat which will retire from service on Monday (March 6).
Posting a picture of the ship, he tweeted:“Virat retires tomorrow. Old ships never die, their spirits live on. #INSViraat -serving Indian Navy for 30 yrs to be decommissioned tomorrow”

But after reading the first line of the tweet, the followers mistook it for India skipper Virat Kohli before realising their mistake. Here are some of the best reactions from the follower who thought Sehwag was talking about Virat Kohli.
