Warne's Warriors v Sachin's Blasters: Predicted XI for the final T20, Los Angeles

The final match of All-Star Cricket  League has reached Los Angeles. Warne Warriors have already won the tournament as they defeated Sachin’s Blasters in the New York and Houston T20 matches in the three-match legends’ series. So, the third match at Dodger Stadium will be a formality.

But, in terms of the popularity among the cricket loving diaspora, who lives in the United States of America as a work immigrants match, will be an interesting game as for the first time a widely followed cricket match will happen in Los Angeles. The first two matches at New York and Houston have drawn a spontaneous crowd.

The Twenty 20 league of cricket’s yesteryear heroes have displayed some exciting innings. Kumar Sangakkara has been the most consistent performer of the tournament. He scored 41 runs in the first match and 29 balls 70 in the Houston T20.

His partnership with Ricky Ponting has been the most instrumental in this series. Jacques Kallis has also been in good shape. Among  the bowlers, Shoaib Akhtar has shown his half glass of fast and furious bowling is still full. He can still bowl 130 km per over consistently. Warne’s Warriors’s captain Shane Warne has bowled well in this series. He has taken Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara’s wicket in the first match at Citi Field, New York. 


In the last match, Shaun Pollock of Blasters has played a 21 ball 55 runs knock in the high scoring match at Houston.

In this series, Sachin Tendulkar is yet to deliver an entertaining innings while Virender Sehwag has played a fifty run knock in the first fixture in Citi field. But his innings has gone in vain as Warne’s blasters have won the match by 6 wickets.

In the second match, Matthew and Michael Vaughan have built a 51 run opening partnership that laid out a platform for middle order batsmen. Jacques Kallis have played a 23 ball 45 run innings while Ricky Ponting played a 16 ball 41 run innings.

Warne’s Warriors bowler Saqlain Mushtaq has spun out Sachin Tendulkar with a brilliant delivery. As par the last match’s result, Warne’s Warriors’ unlikely to make any change in the team.

Meanwhile, Sachin Blasters team who were outclassed in every department. But, in the last match Sachin’s Blasters have picked up their youngest team in comparison to first match’s team. Warne’s Warriors can rest Wasim Akram and pick Courtney Walsh. 

However, the three-match series will over today. But, it is expected that this tournament will have long lasting impact on the mind cricket loving Asian American diaspora.
