Watch: KL Rahul Gets Out On A No Ball During The Bengaluru T20I

Some poor umpiring decisions have already marred the ongoing T20 series between India and England. In fact, these decisions play a major role in deciding the outcome of the match as a couple of decisions in the second T20, which wrongly went into India’s favour, helped the hosts to remain alive in the series.
Leading the series 1-0, England needed eight runs off the final over in the second T20 before umpire C Shamshuddin wrongly adjudged Joe Root LBW even though the England batsman had edged the ball before it hit his pad as India went on to win the match. Earlier, the same umpire had given Virat Kohli a reprieve when he appeared to be LBW on 7.
The match is all done and dusted now but the poor umpiring has once again come to haunt the players and this time, the Indian team had to pay the price for the umpire’s mistake. The incident happened in the eighth over when Suresh Raina and KL Rahul were looking to set a solid platform for the hosts after they had lost skipper Virat Kohli cheaply. The promising 61-run partnership was broken when KL Rahul was castled by Ben Stokes. However, replays showed that the delivery was a no ball which the umpire Anil Chaudhary had completely missed.
Here is the clip of that incident:
