Meanwhile, this will be a massive confidence booster for him ahead of another exciting edition of the Indian Premier League. Naik will ply his trade for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 12th edition of the league.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra have played some excellent cricket in this year’s domestic T20 tournament. The young batsman hammered five sixes of Amit Chandika Prasad Mishra, who had conceded just 16 runs in 3 overs, However, he went for five over-boundaries in the 20th over thus ending his quota with figures of one for 46 runs. Nikhil Naik’s onslaught with the bat helped Maharashtra propel to 176 and winning the match by 21 runs.

Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders have roped in the dashing batsman for RS 20 lakh in the 2019 IPL auctions. He will hope to continue this form in the cash-rich league and make a mark at the highest level. However, this will not be his debut season in the IPL. Previous in 2016, Nikhil Naik has represented Kings XI Punjab but failed to showcase his talent.
