Thanks to Jadeja, India finished their innings on 170 for 8. India then put up yet another impressive display with the ball to bowl out the hosts for 121. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up 3 wickets while Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal accounted for 2 wickets each.

Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma’s hilarious conversation:

During the game, India skipper Rohit Sharma and his new opening partner Rishabh Pant were involved in a hilarious incident. The incident took place in the very first over of India’s innings.

It all happened when England pacer David Willey appeared in front of Pant as he went for a quick single. And after reaching the non-striker’s end safely, Pant came up with a hilarious query. The wicketkeeper-batsman asked his captain: “Saamne aa gaya tha (He came in front). “Takkar maar du kya?” (Should I push him?).

Rohit’s reply was equally hilarious as the captain told his younger teammate: “Maarde aur kya (obviously hit him, why not)”.
