So this series has finally started to look like a typical India-Australia Test series. The first eight days of actions surprisingly did not witness any top-notch banter, sledging or controversy. Before the start of the series both the skippers – Virat Kohli and Tim Paine – had hinted that they would like to avoid any altercation.
Well, it was just a time-bomb waiting to be exploded. Things started to take ugly turns on day three of the ongoing Test in Perth. India skipper Virat Kohli had tried to get under the skin of his Australian counterpart Tim Paine. The Australia skipper was also not ready to let the matter go as he hit back at Kohli, calling the India star bighead.
Virat Kohli: "If you mess up, it's 2-0 here."
Time Paine: "You gotta bat first big head."

The fourth morning was not an exception either. Both the captains had a go at each other constantly. At one stage, things nearly got out of hands when Virat Kohli seemingly came in Paine’s way and nearly hit him with his chest. Umpire Chris Gaffaney soon intervened and talked with both the skippers to keep things under control.
Here is a clip of that incident:
