Before the Ranchi Test had begun, former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson had revealed how demanding Virat Kohli is as a captain and how he wants every player in his team to perform like him. Well, the India skipper has proved Watson’s claims correct in the ongoing third Test against Australia.

The incident occurred in the 32nd over of the innings when Murali Vijay failed to capitalise on a tough chance. Australia skipper Steve Smith, who was batting on 34 at that time, pushed a Ravindra Jadeja delivery straight to Murai Vijay at mid-on. Smith set off for the the single as soon as he hit the shot and he could have been in danger since the ball went straight to Vijay. However, the India opener failed to collect the ball which allowed the Australian batsman to complete the single. Meanwhile, Vijay’s casual attitude infuriated Kohli who expressed his anger by shouting ‘come on yaar’ before hurling expletive at his teammate.
